Whether you are hooking up 60 amp shore power with an ACP6044BC plug and am ADR6044 receptacle or Keeping a cell tower powered in a time of disaster with the 200 amp AP20034CD and ADR/AR20034 plug and receptacle, it is easy to see why many if not most electricians ask for Appleton Electric Plug and connectors. Quality, durability, versatility are words that are used to describe the Appleton Product Line.

With the easy nomenclature, ACP/AP denotes a plug the amp rating 30, 60, 100 (shows as 10 in the part number), 150 and then the big boys 200 and 400, then the conductor configuration 32, 33, 34 and 44 runs the gamut on wiring. Finished off like icing on a cake is the grommet size that denotes the accepted wire diameter the mighty ACP/AP series plugs.

Receptacles are not that different and just as easy to specify ACR/AR, and you know the drill by now and of course selecting a mating back box instead of picking a grommet size, ie. An ACR1034 would be a 100 amp receptacle with 3 wire 4 pole 100amp would take an AJA510 back box.

But hey the funs not over yet we have The ARC series connector. When you need to make a big person extension cord don't mess around putting a floating back box on the end of a cord (danger just don't do it!)... Use the ARC3034BC if you look for a 30 amp solution and if you're sizing it up we are stocking the ARC20034CD. Either of these or other combinations are available and they match right up with their respective plugs to make a perfect inline connection.

Of course, all of these wonderful connectors are available in reverse service. up to 100 amp may even be field swappable. Energized plugs or the opportunity to have an energized plug happens it is just best to reverse service that installation it increase its level of safety. To keep everyone clear that is denoted by a -RS at the end of the part number however due to the ease of reverse service in the field if you are not sure we have dedicated personnel here to let you know if your ACP1034CD is not really an ACP1034CD-RS.
